Logos The purpose of a logo is considered to give the first impression of the business and it promotes the business professionally in the market, attracting potential customers and clients to the business. The effect of a logo is so that when people look at the logo on a product, they can easily identify who the product belongs to. The audience can be for anyone at any age as long as it requires the appropriate items.

Signs The purpose of signs are visual graphics created to display information to a particular audience, such as street signs or signs inside and outside buildings. The effects of a sign on a product is that they alert the audience so that they know who has made the product and to the safety rule of a product. The audience of signs on a product can be to do with safety hazards and how to work the product and to let the audience know where they are located.

POSTERS The purpose of posters is that they can get attention of a passer- by. The effect of a poster is to tell the audience if it is a action movie, horror movie. The audience for posters is for any age as long as the images are suitable for the audience.

Magazine Covers A purpose of a magazine cover is that they can also attract audiences. They can also give a rough idea on what the magazine could be about. The effect of a magazine cover is so it can be decorative to audiences and to be different. The audience for a magazine cover can be any age, cartoons for children’s magazines, fashion/makeup for adult females and bikes/games for adult males.

Packages The purpose of packaging is so that the product it contains is clean and can be reused for storage of item. The effect of a package is so that if you order online then when the items has been shipped, the items can’t be damaged from movement. The audience for packaging mustn't be silly for a serious product, whereas the packaging for a silly product can’t be serious.

Web Graphics The purpose for web graphics is so we can create/ alter images we come up with and wanting to remove items from images we want. The effect of web graphics is so they can be used to create posters, logos also car vinyl's. The audience for web graphics would be artists or people to enjoy art and creating things that appears in their minds.

Engineering Drawings The purpose of engineering drawings is so that it can be easier for people who cannot understand other languages and to describe ideas in less words. The effect of engineering drawings is so that you don’t mess up the final product. Drawing is also the important step of making products. The audience for engineering drawings more commonly used by adults as it is very complicated to understand and the drawings need to be a clear idea and clear drawing for understanding.

Manuals The purpose for manuals for a product is to understand on how to use the product if you buy the product for the first time. The effect of a manual is to teach the audience how to use the product (e.g. an instruction booklet on how to build something). The audience for manuals must be for everybody and must be readable to a appropriate target audience.

Imagery in Movies The purpose for imagery in movies is to show parts of the movie to their specific type of audience(s). The effect of imagery in movies is to see if your interested in that movie or if it suits what type of movie you would watch. The audience would mainly be adults and/or children.

Computer Games The purpose for computer games is to entertain mostly children of any age from around six up to the age of twenty or above! When they are bored or wanting to play a game with other people. The effect of computer game can have some good and negative effects as it can damage their eyes. It can help by increasing their knowledge. The audience verifies as for certain games require an age restriction.

Vector Images Vector images is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon, which are all based on mathematical expressions. The purpose of Vector images is to represent images in computer graphics, Vectors lead through locations called control panels or nodes. Bitmap Images Bitmap images, a representation in which each item corresponds to one or more bits of information, especially the information used to control the display of a computer screen. Bitmap images is to a type of memory organization or image file format. The purpose of Bitmap images is used to store digital images. Differences! The difference between Vector and Bitmap images is that Bitmap is made out of tiny coloured pixels whereas Vector uses maths to keep there images smooth when zoomed inwards or outwards.

Breast Cancer In the year 2011, Breast cancer has almost 13,000 women. Every year, 9,000 men have died from Prostrate cancer. Ovarian cancer claim lives of 85 women every week. We give money to cancer charities so they help research and develop cures for people who have cancer around the world.

Smoking In this picture, it shows a tumour forming in the cigarette. This could happen to any of those who are smoking. This uses a type of graphics to create the tumour for the cigarette to show people what the damage smoking can do.
