Welcome to Curriculum Night Tentative Schedule: 6:20 – 6:40 Homeroom 6:45 – 6:55 Math 7:00 – 7:10 Reading

Homeroom Morning Work: (7:10 -7:40) DOL / Vocabulary (M & T) Science Weekly (W & F ) DOL Quiz (F) HAWKS time: (10:05 – 10:45) Remediation of Math & Reading skills Usually Tues. & Thurs.. AIG students will work on DEP’s at this time. Students not needing remediation will work on Time For Kids Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Writing or Social Studies will take place at this time.

Social Studies and Science Social Studies (daily 12:15 – 1:15) Focuses on the 5 themes of Geography Location, Place, Movement, Human / Environmental Interaction, and Region AND Incorporates History, Economics, Cultures of the US and it neighbors.

Science Science (daily 1:20 – 2:00) 4 Focus Topics: Each topic is taught for approximately 7 weeks Force and Motion (Mrs. Clark) Landforms (Mrs. Banister) Weather (Mrs. Palma) Ecosystems (Mrs. Clark) We are confident that your child Well prepared for the Science EOG Last year we had 94 % proficiency On the Science EOG!
