1. Christians are united in Christ – 1Cor.12:12,13 When someone repents & trusts Christ:- a. They are united to Jesus b. They are united to other christians to form one body 2. There are many gifts As we look at the long list:- 1. It is not exhaustive, but illustrative 2. Many are a deepening of what should be seen with all christians – faith, mercy etc 3. No place for superiority or inferiority - “I don’t need others” – 1Cor.12: “I don’t need others” – 1Cor.12: “I am not really needed” – 1Cor.12: “I am not really needed” – 1Cor.12:14-20
