School pride is the act of supporting JFMS students, staff, community, and campus. While this is an extremely abstract concept, there are concrete ways in which we can show our Jaguar PRIDE. Showing school pride is important because it allows us to identify with a larger group and be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Pride: noun. A high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc. Synonyms: Pride, conceit, self-esteem, egotism, vanity, implies an unduly favorable idea of one's own appearance, advantages, achievements, etc., and often apply to offensive characteristics. Pride is a lofty and often arrogant assumption of superiority in some respect. From Dictionary.com: Click on me for a video!
