 They are classified as anabolic or corticosteroids.  They can help with health problems.  They are used by body builders.

 Are used to control inflammation of the body.  They’re used to help control asthma and lupus.  These are not the steroids that are used by bodybuilders and some athletes.

 My grandpa use corticosteroids for his arthritis and my aunt use them to help with her arthritis and her lupus. With arthritis they are always in pain and my aunt can’t even do simple tasks like vacuuming and driving without taking the steroids to help her. Even then she is always taking naps.

 Synthetic hormones that boost the body’s ability to produce more muscle and prevent muscle breakdown.  Some athletes and bodybuilders use these steroids.  They are illegal in the United States unless given a prescription.

 This is a type of anabolic steroid that are used by athletes.  Andro is taken in large doses is proven to cause a number of health problems.  Most common anabolic steroid.

 They are illegal  And can damage a persons health.  Stunt growth in teens.  Liver tumors  Enlargement of heart  Mood swings  Hair loss  Frequent muscle aches

 In all pro, college, and high school sports they are required to do a test for Steroid usage.  If failed you face jail time, monetary fines, exclusion from an event or team, and forfeiting of all trophies and medals.

 Exaggerated mood swings  Worsening in ache  Unusually greasy skin with stretch marks  Increase of muscle size suddenly

 Mental- you have mood swings constantly and don’t think things through. Which can get you in trouble with the law.  Social- your friends won’t want to be by you because you are constantly having mood swings and they never know when they will happen.  Physical- You may look cool at the start with big muscles, but you have many side effects from taking them. When you use them for a long time it makes you seem older then you really are and you start to get liver tumors.
