Composite Number

Divisible

Even number

The exponent is usually shown as a superscript (raised font) to the right of the base number. It shows how many times to multiply the base times itself. Examples: 2 3 where 3 is the exponent means to multiply 2 x 2 x 2 = 8. Another easy one is 1 3 so you would multiple 1 by itself 3 times: 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 Exponent
