II. “The Big Three” In 1942, Stalin, Churchill, and Roosevelt met to hammer out war strategy By 1944, Germany was fighting two front war against the US and UK in the west and the Soviet Union in the east The US Navy had also recovered and was now scoring victories against Japan in the Pacific In Europe, Africa, and Asia, several important battles had turned the tide of the war Aim: What were the major turning points in World War II? After 7 minutes, students will return the readings to the folder and pass the folder on to the next group. The process is repeated. 5.) WHY? To make sure you’re doing work in class.
