MINNESOTA PERSONAL LEARNING PLANS The Minnesota Personal Learning Plan (PLP) must assist all students by no later than grade 9 to explore their educational, college, and career interests, aptitudes, and aspirations and develop a plan for a smooth and successful transition to the postsecondary education or employment.

THE PLP PLAN... This document, called a portfolio, allows students to enter, track and update the following information:  course enrollment and postsecondary plans aligned to career goals  interest and skills inventories  documentation of the range of college and career readiness skills he/she has developed Students will complete an electronic portfolio through the Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS).

EXPECTATIONS OF THE SCHOOL Review and/or revise the student’s Minnesota Personal Learning Plan at least annually by the student and/or parent/guardian to ensure that the student's course-taking schedule keeps the student making adequate progress to meet state and local academic standards and high school graduation requirements and with a reasonable chance to succeed with employment or postsecondary education.

Thank You We appreciate you trusting your children with us, we take that very seriously. Your success is our success. Thank you and we look forward to working with you over the next 4 years.
