Why do we do it?

There are surprising and increasing numbers of people falling into poverty

Living costs – rent, fuel, food are all increasing Wages are not going up Benefits are being affected

What is a Food Bank?

We sort by type We pack bags We deliver to people in need

But to meet increasing demand, at least once a month we have collections at Waitrose stores

We ask people to buy an extra item of food to donate to us

Waitrose then deliver to our warehouse

Who collects, sorts and delivers the food?

We rely on lots and lots of volunteers

How many people does ReadiFood help?

How do we know who to take food to? How does the food get to the people who need it?

What sort of food do we need?

We are not specifically collecting Christmas Food this year Everything will help
