Benchmarking & Best Practices COE MISSION The B2PCOE mission is to identify, validate, and disseminate best in-class practices, processes, methodologies, systems, and technologies with the end objective of improving the level of competitiveness, affordability and performance of the defense industrial base, defense platforms and weapons systems. VISION The B2PCOE vision will to be a Department of Defense resource for developing and sharing best practice standards for mature manufacturing technologies, stable and producible designs, and mature production processes. ROLE The role of the B2PCOE is to collect data to identify and validate best practice standards. B2PCOE will and disseminate best practices by formally integrating each ManTech Center of Excellence, with small businesses, academia, and industry, thus fostering high levels of horizontal communication and collaboration.

The B2PCOE Industrial Board collaborates on industry specific non-competitive and pre-competitive activities through a collaboration model that allows companies to share Best Practices and leverage resources in the collection, distribution, and integration of Best Practices. The goal of this collaboration is to provide a highly responsive and disciplined environment to ensure that the alliances are developed quickly when issues arise and to ensure that the Best Practices will be shared and have a direct benefit to the defense industry at large.
