Work in progress We are working on a new design hypothesis of the stave inlet and outlet connections using a 1/16” ‘flexible’ pipe from the manifolds, to cope with the space and mechanical problems. The relevant material, 1/16 “ pipes and calibrated orifices to be mounted on the cooling test have been ordered, together with needle valves, arriving 10 September. The VCR connections on the pipe will be glued for the test but welding joint is considered for the detector. A dummy line using real components according to this design will be mounted and tested using the TRACI system. More details in next presentations.
