Animals There are 4 major animals, they are cattle, sheep, goats, giraffes, and elephants.

Tribes The tribe in the Sahel are the Tuarrg and the Huasa.

Vegetation Savanna woodland, Desert, Bush land, Fertile grassland. Savanna woodland is like the savanna, Desert is hot and dry, Bush land is like a tundra, Fertile grassland is like a plain.

Between 1960 - 1980 A 20 year drought killed thousands of people.
