W HEN WRITING …. Most of the time it is better to use the ACTIVE VOICE when writing because it is stronger and more direct. When you know the WHO of your sentence, it is always best to make the WHO perform the action of the sentence. If you do not know the WHO of your sentence, PASSIVE voice may be used. Ex: The bridge will soon be completed by workers.
