Topic ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE Target Students: 1 st Year High School

SYMBOLIC Miss Lacson continues her topic about verbs. Today, her topic is all about the Active and Passive form of the verbs. She introduces the new topic by showing the chart that gives the definition and provides examples of active and passive voice.

ICONIC Miss Anj borrowed Multimedia Projector and a DVD player from the school’s Audio-Visual room. She played an educational video showing conversations of different people using Active and Passive voice.

ENACTIVE After the presentation of the video, Miss Anj will group her students into smaller groups for a roll playing activity. Each group will be instructed to present conversations in a specific situation that uses Active and Passive voice. The students happily cooperated.
