Regional Archaeological Museum Plovdiv Regional Archaeological Museum Plovdiv - RAM is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Bulgaria, officially opened in 1882, celebrating its 130 anniversary this year. - The Museum owns a rich collection of more than works of art and artifacts, related to the history of Plovdiv (Philippopol) and the region. - In 2010, following a long period of reconstruction, the Museum was reopened with the most modern building and permanent exposition in Bulgaria, corresponding to all European standards.

The permanent exposition includes unique exhibits from the earliest period of the human civilization – V ІІ millennia BC until the Middle Ages - ХІ V c. AD
