Objectives Identify six parts of the FFA emblem. Describe the meaning of each part.

The FFA Emblem The national FFA emblem, consisting of five symbols, is representative of the history, goals and future of the organization. As a whole, the emblem covers the broad spectrum of FFA and agriculture. Each element within the emblem has unique significance

The cross section of an ear of corn … … represents our common interest in agriculture.

The eagle... …is symbolic of the national scope of the FFA.

The rising sun... … represents progress in agriculture.

The plow......symbolizes labor and tillage of the soil.

The owl... … represents knowledge and wisdom.

The words Agricultural Education surrounding FFA......tell us that FFA is an important part... … of an agricultural education program.
