UN/CEFACT TMG Closing Plenary  New Delhi, IndiaSlide 13 BCSS Decision to rename the BCSS-project (being mainly a UML-Profile for Core Components) to „UML-Profile for Core Components (CCTS part 3)“ and move the project to CCWG CCTS part 3 now supports UML 1.4 and UML2 and is ready for public review XMI interoperability  will be based on a reference XMI flavor (either EclipseUML2, JSR40(JMI) or UML 2.0 Tools Certification program) / further restrictions if required  Evaluation of approaches and proof-of-concept as part of the implementation verification phase

Short term goals are:  Clearly define all CEFACT specifications and relationships / dependencies between them  Group related specifications / versions into aggregated CEFACT “Product” release  Clearly define both business and technical workflow for CEFACT standards  Classify each specification within the reference technical architecture (eg Open EDI reference model)  Define relationship to external specifications (eg deployment of CEFACT models to web services)  Represent all this on a clickable, browsable web site that allows both internal and external stakeholders to understand CEFACT product. Progress towards these goals:  Reference model started and four project team members recruited.  Delivery of draft version of short term goals specified above due by End November 2006
