Choices after leaving school Further Education Lots of different courses available at lots of different places! Can stay on at the Sixth Form or go on to College Courses can be academic or vocational Look at the qualification table on the careers page to see if this is for you

Choices after leaving school Apprenticeships and work-based learning Learning in the workplace and usually going to a college or training provider one day a week or fortnight. Lots of vocational areas are covered. Usually employed so get the same benefits as an employee and receive a minimum wage of £2.50 an hour (rising to £2.60 an hour from October 2011). Look at good and bad points… talk it through with someone

Choices after leaving school Employment You may want to go straight into a job when you leave school. When you are , the national minimum wage is currently £3.64 an hour (rising to £3.68 from October 2011). You need to look at the good and bad points- is this really for you? Talk it over…

Choices after leaving school Doing Nothing! Won’t get any money!!! Will get bored!!! Doesn’t look good on your CV!!!

Choices after leaving school Remember…. Its your choice!!! For the first time, you choose where to go and what to study. Think about all the options available to you.
