 The PFO is a non-profit group of dedicated parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and staff.  Our primary objective is to provide our school with funds, programs, and resources that will enrich the education of every child. We do this by coordinating family and fundraising activities.  By having a child at Stark, you are automatically a member of the PFO. Parent/Faculty Organization (PFO)

Why Our School Needs the PFO The Stark PFO works hard to raise money to sponsor events that will enrich our children’s education. Some examples are:  The Story Pirates  Field trips  Scholastic magazine subscriptions  In-class enrichment In addition, we run wonderful events such as:  Welcome dinner  Stark Scramble  Fall and Spring book fair  Plant sale  Teacher appreciation week  Starry Night gala  Kindergarten welcome and orientation

How to Get Involved  Come to our meetings  We get together once a month to discuss upcoming events and plan activities  We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the Media Center  All are welcome!  Volunteer  We need parents and family members to participate in our committees and events  You can volunteer from home or at school  We appreciate anything you can do

How You Can Help In addition to volunteering, there are other ways to assist the PFO and our students. Support our:  Fall catalog and holiday pies fundraiser  Book fairs  Spiritwear  Plant sale  Spring fundraiser Come to our family fun nights:  Welcome dinner  Bingo for books  Story Pirates evening show Join us for our 2 nd Starry Night Gala on 3/13/15 from 7-11pm at the Italian Center!
