CMS Directions 1. Open Internet Explorer to our home page. 2. Click SIGN IN

3. Enter your username and password. If you do not know your username and password, click on “click here”. Then type your Loudoun County Open GroupWise, find the message in the red envelope that tells you what your username and password are. Go back to the Internet and go to Sign In again.

4. Go to Heritage’s site. Click on the Teachers. 5. Click on your name.

6. Click on this button to edit your site. Once you are at your page, you will see the SITE MANAGER button appear.

From here, you are able to edit your Overview (team) page, your personal page, and your team calendar.

This is what the Overview and Personal pages look like. The tools are very similar to those in Word. Spell Check Cut, Copy, Paste Undo Font Format Bold, Italicize, Underline Align Left, Center, Align Right Text Indent, Text Outdent Insert Picture Insert Horizontal Line Insert Hyperlink

To attach a PDF file, you need to click on the paper clip. 1. Click on Insert new file from my computer or network… 2. Click Next > 3.Click on Browse. 4.Navigate to the file. 5.Click Next > 6.In Link Text Box, type a name for the attachment. 7.In the Target Box, it should say Open in New Window. 8.Click Insert File.

To Create PDF Files from Excel, Word, Publisher, or PowerPoint Documents From Your AV Machine (the one hooked to the TV), Open My Computer Open The Drive that has the File in it. Right Click on the icon of the file. Choose Convert to Adobe PDF. Save the file with a sensible name. From Any Computer, Open the File you want to convert. Go to File, Print. Go Choose CutePDF Writer. Click Okay. Save the file with a sensible name.

To add a new event to the team calendar, click on NEW EVENT. Fill in the information. Keep Recurrance at Today Only. This can be just for your class or for the whole team. If it is just for your class, make sure you label it “Miss Cinella’s Class Field Trip.”
