Disability and Dyslexia Service Admissions Issues re Disabled Students The Law – it is unlawful to discriminate:- In the arrangements made for determining admissions In the terms on which it offers to admit the disabled person to the institution By refusing or deliberately omitting to accept an application for his or her admission to the institution RGU Student Services Disability and Dyslexia Service

Admissions in practice Ensure that the application process is accessible – e.g. alternatives to written forms, interviewing, tests Can adjustments be made to the admissions criteria?
