Recap  Write a definition of conscience.  What are the 3 types of conscience.  Explain 2 out of the 3 types of conscience.

Piaget’s ways  Innate:  Empirical:  Constructivist:  study of children/infants/teenagers about knowledge develops.  psychological theory of knowledge that says we generate knowledge from experiences  child is born with certain innate abilities and these develop and mature in a set sequence under the influence of the environment the child grows up in.

Piaget’s ways.  Innate: child is born with certain innate abilities and these develop and mature in a set sequence under the influence of the environment the child grows up in.  Empirical: study of children/infants/teenagers about knowledge develops.  Constructivist: psychological theory of knowledge that says we generate knowledge from experiences

The constructivist theory  Impact on educational theory  How knowledge is internalized by learners  Accommodation & assimilation > new knowledge.  Accommodation – changing to fit new knowledge in.  How does learning happen.  Learning as unique with unique needs & backgrounds.  Encouraged to come your own conclusion of the truth.  Responsibility with the learner.

Morality Heteronomous a) 5 – 10 years old. b) Immature conscience c) If rules are broken, you are punished. Autonomous a) 10+ b) Develop own rules. c) Less dependant.
