The Same Earth, Different Landscapes

Hi! I’m an European bison Kazimierz. I will be your guide today during your visit to Poland ;)

I live with my family in Białowieża Forest in eastern Poland. I belong to distinct species. Our forest is very pretty so come to visit us

Look at this! The landscape is really varied. We have mountains, uplands, lowlands, lakes and … we are the only country in Europe that has a desert.

Something really important in our culture is history and traditions. There are many historical monuments here. Poland is pround of its past.

Maybe our urban landscape isn’t the most impressive but things are changing …

…and now we are making up for wasted time and we are looking into the future. Here’s the proof.

Religion is really important for many people in our country. Almost 90 % of Poles are catholics. Here’s a little bit of our religion landscape. In Świebodzin, we have the greatest Jesus sculpture in the world! Bigger than the one in Rio!

I can’t believe that people can do something else with grass than eat it… However Poland was one of the organizers of Euro 2012!! Maybe our national football team is not the best but we have beautiful stadiums with delicious green grass ;>

It’s time to change the place. We are heading for Upper Silesia, the place where my friends from Comenius live and learn.

Upper Silesia is the industrial capital of Poland, the center for science, bussines, commerce and transportation. It’s one of the biggest metropolitan areas in Europe.

And what… ? You think that’s all… ? ;>
