What are adverbial phrases? Grammar Toolkit

Adverbial phrases are phrases that do the work of adverbs. They tell how, when, where or why. On the wide African savannah, Zac sang songs in a sweet, high voice to woo his true love. Adverbial phrases begin with a preposition or an infinitive.
