Trained volunteer community advisors: meet one-on-one with every 8 th - and 10 th -grade student use student’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP), EXPLORE/PLAN results to discuss: career aspirations and required education/training whether the student is on target to meet their goals whether student is taking the courses recommended to prepare them for a successful future Also program will: provide information to student’s parent on how they can engage in their student’s college/career readiness 9
