Parting of friendships 1.Think of reasons why friends might have to leave each other. Discuss. 2.In pairs, improvise the scene when one friend has to explain to the other that they are leaving and why. How might the friend react? 3.Flash-forward to 10 years in the future. Scene 4 Time: 9am Place: College residency Action: Toni arrives and meets the receptionist at the halls of residence. He tells her a few rules and shows her where it is. She enters and wonders what her room-mate will be like (monologue). FINISH AFTER DISCUSSION IN YOUR GROUPS
