Solution by 2037 Power Norway

2025 A large amount of volunteers have traveled to Antarctica to start a new life. The scientists find out that the fertility on Antarctica is not good enough. The Norwegian politicians believe it will be better to move to Norway and form smaller societies along the western coast. Scientists find out that there is more than enough space for the Norwegian population to live along the west coast of Norway.

2028 Back in Norway people are scared of not having any rules or laws. Many small military groups develop to stop the demonstrators destroying public property. Over half of the people living on Antarctica have moved back because they want to join the military groups back in Norway. Huge airplanes are flying back and forth from Antarctica to Stavanger, Kristiansand and Bergen airports.

2031 Many of the military groups that have developed in the last few years get together and form a strong alliance. They call themselves ”The New Norwegian Patriots” and they are searching for a strong leader. The Norwegian politicians return home to the west coast. A former communist, Ola Nordmann, appears as the leader of ”The New Norwegian Patriots”, and he takes control of the country. The government that is forming looks a little communistic. Laws and rules are starting to take place.

2034 Ola Nordmann holds speeches around the country to make people trust him. The riots have settled down and people are starting to listen to the forming government. An EU referendum is set up. Norway votes yes. Norway starts getting money from the EU.

2037 The Euro is now the Norwegian currency. This makes the Norwegian economy more stable, and we can start trading with other’s countries. Ola Nordmann is elected to lead Norway. The Norwegians are building the infrastructure in Norway up again. Since the North Sea is not covered with ice, Norway still has the opportunity to produce oil.
