The Cardiovascular System Revision of the Heart

Learning outcomes Revise the heart structure and function.

Task 1 Collect a diagram. Work in groups to label the chambers of the heart and the associated blood vessels. Keep your diagram for your notes. Task 1 Answers Adapted from -

Task 2 Write down as many points as you can remember about the structure and function of the heart. Each group should add to the sheet as they reach this station.

Task 3 Blood flow washing line –Use paperclips to hang the labels up in the correct order along the washing line. –When it is time to move on take down the cards and shuffle them for the next group.

Task 4 Match the blood flow questions with the correct answers.

Task 5 Add the correct labels to the diagram. Remember to take off the labels and shuffle the cards when you move on!
