Bipolar disorder- Manic Episode (dopamine levels are high)  a mood disorder marked by a hyperactive, wildly optimistic state  euphoria- great elation and sense of wellbeing  heightened or exaggerated self-esteem  increased motor activity  increased goal-directed activity  reduced need for sleep  increased talkativeness  racing thoughts  easily distracted  poor judgment (as shown by spending sprees & foolish investments, etc.)  can have psychotic features due to high dopamine levels
