Presentation transcript:

In 2005 the tallest rollercoaster ever is the Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. It measures an astounding height of 456ft (139m). That’s the same as 46 stories high! 46 Stories

The longest journey on a skateboard was achieved by Rob Thomas. On June 24 th, 2007 Rob Thomas skateboarded from Leysin, Switzerland and on September 28 th, 2008 he finished in Shanghai, China. He traveled for 463 days and went a staggering 7,555 miles (12,159km). That’s about the same distance as driving from here to Alaska and back!

The longest journey swimming was achieved by Martin Strel. Between February 1 st and April 8 th Martin swam a distance of 3,273 miles (5,268km). That’s about the distance from here to Guatemala.

On November 11 th, 2009 the longest conga line had 252 people. I estimated each person would take up about 15in so the total length was around 3,780in (96.012m). This is about the length of a football field!

On September 17 th, 2009 James May built the largest Lego house being 15ft 4in (4.69m) high, 30ft 9in (9.39m) long and 18ft 10in (5.75m) wide. This is about me stacked 3 times for height, me stacked 6 times for length and me stacked 3½ times for width! H=x3W=x3½L=x6

The longest bar measures a length of 405ft (123.7m). That is the same as me stacked 80 times! L=x80

Ashrita Furman traveled a distance of 5,472ft (1668m) with a cue stick on his chin. This is the same distance as 1668 meter sticks! x1668

The largest cardboard box is 20ft 1.2in (6.12m) for width, 46ft 1.2in (14.05m) for length and 9ft 0.3in (2.75m) for height. That’s the same as me stacked 4 times for width, me stacked 9 times for length and me stacked almost twice for height! W=x4L=x9H=x1 or 2

The biggest glow stick is 9ft 10in (3m) tall. This is just a foot taller then the tallest man!

The biggest sky lantern is 38ft 3in (11.68m) tall and 32ft 9in (10m) wide. That’s about the same as inchworms all lined up for both height and width!

The End
