Web Service SendPESCAcknowledgment An institution will be able to send the ATC a PESC formatted acknowledgment as acknowledgment receipt to the sender that processing of the transcript took place.) ReceiveDocumentBatch The ATC will provide the ability for institutions to pull documents based upon document type or all documents. The response from this service call will be a PESC batch with one to many documents included. It also allows institutions to pull batches that have previously been created by OBR

Web Interface Validate Acknowledgment The ATC provides a easy way to validate the acknowledgments before uploading to ATC. A simple validate interface makes this possible. Will perform PESC Schema Validation Will perform ATC Custom Validation RequestTrackingID is required SSN or SIN is required Source Org Code validity Dest Org Code validity Will check that the acknowledgment matches a transcript based on the following criteria (if it exists): Ack Source Org = Transcript Dest Org Ack Dest Org = Transcript Source Org Ack RequestTrackingId = Transcript DocID Ack First Name = Transcript First Name Ack Last Name = Transcript Last Name Ack SSN = Transcript SSN Ack SIN = Transcript SIN If no match is found an error is returned If PESC or Custom validation fails error is returned. Web Interface Upload Acknowledgment The ATC also provides an alternative mechanism to move acknowledgments through the ATC. A simple upload interface allows those institutions that have not implemented an automated system to be able to pass electronic acknowledgments through the ATC web interface. Web Interface Transcript Details Create Acknowledgment This web functionality will enable destination institutions without web services capability to create acknowledgment from the ATC web application. Create link will appear in the transcript details page only when transcript and supplement has been viewed and if you are the destination institution. Institutions can preview the acknowledgment to ensure that the information is accurate before they send. All fields are pre-populated except for : “Academic Award Total - Number of Student.AcademicRecord.AcademicAward occurrences + number of Student.AcademicRecord.AcademicSession.AcademicAward occurrences ” “Course Total” - Number of Student.AcademicRecord.AcademicAward occurrences + number of Student.AcademicRecord.AcademicSession.AcademicAward occurrences Preview Button opens in PDF format Go to Snapshot

Web Interface Transcript Details Acknowledgement Events - In addition to transcript events the following Acknowledgements will also be displayed: Acknowledgement Received - Initial receipt of Acknowledgment from Destination Institution Acknowledgement Validated - Acknowledgment validated successfully. Web Interface Download Page - The Transcript Download Page has been updated to reflect Acknowledgments in Pending Download status in addition to Transcripts. It includes a column to display the document type - either acknowledgment or transcript Note: 1.Transcript will stay in the Download Page until the Acknowledgment has been created by the Transcript Destination Institution and sent to the Transcript Source Institution. 2. Web Interface Reset ATC User Password Users of the ATC web interface will be able to change their password on demand. Within their user settings they will be able to change their password. Password encryption using salted secure hashing algorithm (SSHA). In order to enforce strong passwords, certain requirements have to be met for constructing passwords: Password must be at least 8 characters long. Password must contain at least one upper case letter. Password must contain at least one lower case letter. Password must contain at least one number. Password must contain at least one symbol(punctuation mark or other special character). Go to Snapshot

Password Policy enforced by ATC Apart from this ATC will enforce these password policies: 5 invalid login attempts will lock the account Lockout duration sixty minutes Reset failure count after five minutes Users should not set their new password to be the same as their current password (it’s a request and will be enforced in a future release) User must change password after reset by an administrator (it’s a request and will be enforced in a future release)

Web Interface Search Page The enhanced search page will provide more drilled down search capabilities to locate transcripts and acknowledgments by addition of new fields - Start date, End date, Status, DocumentID Go to Snapshot

Notification Electronic communication will be sent to the institution to indicate if Transcript and/or Acknowledgment is in pending download status If Transcripts only: OHIO BOARD OF REGENTS has 2319 electronic transcript(s) awaiting pickup from the ATC. Please download your transcripts at the earliest convenient time for processing. If Acknowledgment only: OHIO BOARD OF REGENTS has 1 electronic acknowledgment(s) awaiting pickup from the ATC. Please download your transcripts at the earliest convenient time for processing. If Transcript and Acknowledgment: OHIO BOARD OF REGENTS has 2319 electronic transcript(s) and 1 electronic acknowledgment(s) awaiting pickup from the ATC. Enhancements in Release 2.0 Login Page - User name and associated institution will be displayed for easy identification Transcript Details Page - PDF and XML link to view the Transcript and Supplement will now be a batch document containing both documents Transcript Details page – Due to the above change the event Transcript Viewed and Supplement Viewed by Org has been added Search/Download page - Can click anywhere in the row in the download list table or the search results table Transcript Details - File name generated for the PDF format of transcript will have unique names Search Page - Search Results will have date column
