Intent to Enroll & Enrollment Deposit You must confirm your plans to attend CSU San Marcos by submitting the Intent to Enroll and Enrollment Deposit on MyCSUSM. Placement Exams All CSU campuses require new freshmen to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) exam prior to enrollment unless you are exempt by scores earned on other appropriate tests (EAP/SAT/ACT/AP). Tests are scheduled at CSU San Marcos and at each CSU campus. You are encouraged to sign up for these exams as early as possible so your scores will be available when you attend orientation. You must submit your Intent to Enroll and deposit before registering for an orientation program. You will register for your fall semester classes.
