problem The problem in this book is that nick hated his fifth grade teacher. Nick wanted to make his teacher mad so he renamed pen to frindle. Nick got in trouble in by purposely forgetting his pen and asking he teacher “will you give me a frinde” his teacher got so mad. Nick told all of his friends to ask for a frindle at school. They even asked for a frindle at the drug store.

solution Mrs. Granger finally excepts the word maybe because the word already spread through cites and towns. The word even got in the wabsters dictionary. At the end Mrs. Granger liked the fact that Nick got involved. She even send Nick a websters dictionary with frindle in it.

summary This book was about a boy named nick that hated his fifth grade teacher. Every day he would hear her say, "go look in the dictionary". His teacher loved the dictionary, so nick got so involved and made up a new word for pen, if you want to find out what the. word is for pen you will have to read the book.
