Not only are they the names of Ninja Turtles, they are also the names of famous people who lived during the Renaissance period

Renaissance So what does the word RENAISSANCE mean??? It is a French word that means “rebirth” It is a French word that means “rebirth”

The Renaissance Started in Italy around the year 1350 AD Soon spread to other countries in Europe

Before the Renaissance? Before the Renaissance was a period called the Dark Ages It wasn’t called the Dark Ages because there was no light…it was called that because there was no learning! They had lots of wars, starvation, disease (Black Death), and poverty
