Flash Movies Sequence & Process

Think about the order of things!

We want our sequence to make sense to our audience.

Introduction: Make sure you have a message (like a thesis statement). Set the stage. Make your background be a part of your message. Information: Give any information your audience may need to understand the setting. –Example: If it’s in France, you may want to include the Eifel tower.

Middle Introduce an activity or problem Focus on actions Show interaction of characters.

End End with results of the actions or resolution to the problem. Make the audience know that it’s really over – not like they missed something.

Storyboard: Use your storyboard to help plan this sequence. Planning in advance WILL make your movie flow better. Don’t be afraid to make a change if you have a new idea to add.
