The Tribune Tower

The Tribune Tower is a neo-Gothic building that reaches a height of 141 meters and 36 floors. It has been built by Raymond M. Hood with the collaboration of John Mead Howells. The building is the home of the newspaper Chicago Tribune.

WHERE IS THE TRIBUNE TOWER LOCATED?

In 1922 the Chicago Tribune organized an international competition to realize its headquarters. The building had to be “the most beautiful and distinctive office building in the world”. The winner of this competition were two designers from New York: John Mead Howells and Raymond Hood. The Tribune Tower was completed in HISTORY
