A Bit of History Established in 1961, the OECD groups together 30 member countries –With enlargement efforts to include Chile, Estonia, Slovenia, Russian Federation and Israel as members –And enhanced engagement with Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and South Africa Collects, analyzes and makes available statistics spanning the range of socio-economic activities Maintains full publishing program with some 250 publications each year and maintenance of some 85 databases ESDS Conference 2008 – London, UK
