According to The Center for Educational Reform (2012) in 2010 there were approximately 3,219,458 teachers in public schools; 456,270 teachers in private schools; and 146, 630 teachers in Catholic schools. Using this information, it is clear that almost 4,000,000 have decided to enter teaching. There must be many attractions to this profession.

Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit.
