1.Expectations for your presentation. 100 points  You will each be assigned a country in Latin America for this presentation.  Driving Question for Unit II Project-  Driving Question for Unit II Project- Why would the United States want to have foreign relations with your country? What are the benefits to both countries- such as trade, foreign aid, military aid, alliance, etc.? You must consider current events.  In your project you need to show relationships and reasons. Such as history, religion, culture, ancestry, climate and agriculture, industry, natural resources, economy, government, current events…..etc.  The project will be presented to the class- a presentation, power point (you can add your own sound and voice over), iMovie or how ever you wish to present. You do not have to use the IPad for the presentation if you wish. The bigger the better. 2.Research.- Oct. 15- Oct. 18  You may use your IPad for research in class on your country to answer the driving question.  We suggest you take notes, but this is your project. Do it as you see fit.  Class Time will be used for your research. Conversations with other is not going to be allowed.  IPad use is restricted to research and project development only in class, any other usage will result in the loss of the use of your IPad for the rest of that period. 3.Individual Project Development- Oct. 19-Oct. 24  You may use your IPad for project development in class to answer the driving question.  This is your project. Prepare your presentation as you see fit. Keep in mind it must answer the Driving question and tell as much about your country as possible.  Class Time must be used for your project development.
