 The Incans were one of the first civilizations in South America. They were very artistic. They worked with many materials to form very unique pottery, stone work, cloth and even their town in the Andes Mountains were considered artistic.

 Colombia has 3,500 years of history that ranges from regions and styles of art from Spanish paintings and gold work. One of the most influential artists is Fernando Botero. He called himself a Colombian Figurative Artist because his art was different from what was seen at the time.

 Peruvian art has its origin in the Andean civilization. These civilizations came to the territory of Peru before the Spanish. Peru’s earliest artwork came from the Cupisnique culture, which was along the pacific coast.
