+ Why I chose this painting I chose Fernando Botero’s version of the Mona Lisa because I like the unusualness of it. I love the way he took normal and thought outside of the box. I admire his almost humorous ways of drawing and painting. This makes me think of myself and how I like to be creative and not be original.

+ Why I chose this painting I chose this painting because faith is probably the most important aspect of my life. This reminds me of my own experience growing up in a faith-filled environment. My family takes it very seriously, and it keeps us strong. I also like this particular scene the artist drew because it reminds me that not only was Jesus divine, but he was also a human just like us.
