 Request for review/ modification  MDA - Time Norm for scrutiny and issuance of approval letters may be increased from one day to five days as per MDA guidelines. – Some times RCMC copy is not given or some other deficiency is there which is required to be collected before issuing approval letter. When MDA guideline is giving 5 days for issuing such letters, we may stick to it.  Condition of issuance of reminders if the claim is not lodged by exporter may be deleted. – If he is claiming the MDA, it is his responsibility to submit the claim in time. As per guideline, 90 days are given to submit the claim whereas as per ISO, we need to issue reminder within one month. Exporters are already aware of MDA guidelines.
