How it is Caused Bone infection (osteomyelitis), usually following pelvic surgery Pelvic trauma or surgery Sports-related injury or overuse Spondyloarthropathies (spondyloarthritis), a group of inflammatory conditions

Interesting Facts More common in males Commonly found in Soccer Slide Tackle with rotation Extreme Hip Abduction, combined with concentric Hip Adduction, flexion/extension of the hips as well as jumps and twists of Bulls and Horses lead to Rodeo injuries

Age Groups In Which the Injury can Occur It is most common in males ages 30 to 50

Signs and Symptoms Pain in the lower abdomen or groin, lower thigh, testicles or hips Tenderness at the symphysis pubis
