 Drill: Why do you have to shake Italian salad dressing before you use it?  Objective: SWBAT describe and explore density of liquids in order to determine density.  HW: “How Dense am I” due Wednesday

 Lab Groups ◦ Water Person:  Fill beaker in back with 500 mL of water.  Grab a sheet of paper towels.  Fill water and salt water cups using graduated cylinder ◦ Label Person:  Label four cups with color and liquid using sharpie  Measure out shampoo and alcohol and put in cups using graduated cylinder  Add 3 drops of food coloring to each cup and mix ◦ Set Up  Cut off portion of straw  Set up 1 straw in clay

 Drill: List the order of your first trial. ◦ Did the layers stack or mix? ◦ What changes did you make for your next trial?
