My purpose for this project is to show how games have transitioned from when we had one-room school houses to games we play now. It will include how the games completely changed to how games have not changed just have improved. Purpose or Thesis Statement

Games and Equipment Handbook This is a handbook which basically tells you how games are played but not just played but also tells you what equipment is needed and how to build the necessary material to play the game.

Merry Go Round

Merry Go Round Cont… In this picture there is another type of merry go round which is in front of the school house. It just shows that back then they didn’t have a lot to do when it was time for recess as compared to now you have multiple things to go play on.

Swing Set Swing sets have always been one of the most popular things to do when it was recess time. No matter if it was back then to now, it is still a fun and exciting thing to do.

Teeter Totter

Sporting Games Playing sporting games has always been a fun activity during school. Now a lot of kids today play more of football basketball etc... But this picture just shows how much baseball was a popular sport to play then.

Leap Frog Leap frog was a game that needed no materials or any sort of ball. It was just you and a bunch of your friends having fun. You do not see it much today but it was a popular game even when I was growing up.

Playground Set This was a typical playground set for children then. There was about three swings a teeter totter and a slide. What you see today is a lot more than that. There will be up to three slides and tunnels and just all sorts of things. Playgrounds have improved throughout the years.
