Chapter 13 Your Appearance

I. Good Grooming --how you take care of yourself --clean, neat, and well dressed = good grooming

A. Hair 1. neatly trimmed 2. off your face 3. wash regularly 4. know company policy on mustache/beard

B. Skin 1. bathe or shower regularly 2. always use deodorant

C. Hands 1. shake hands all the time in business world 2. wash all the time/use hand sanitizer 3. keep nails trimmed 4. polished nails should be kept fresh

D. Breath 1. brush and floss all the time 2. visit dentist twice/year 3. mouthwash

E. Makeup and Fragrance 1. Keep them light

II. Wardrobe --different jobs = different dress --the way you dress has an effect on how people think of you
