The Land of the Midnight Sun

Location… Alaska borders Canada and the Pacific Ocean. It does not border any other states. The longitude is 152° 28.2'W and the latitude: 64° 43.9'N.

Special Land Features… There are many glaciers in Alaska.There are many glaciers in Alaska. There are active volcanoes in the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes at the Katmai National Park.There are active volcanoes in the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes at the Katmai National Park.

Special Land Features… The highest elevation (20,320 feet) is Mount McKinley. The lowest elevation is Sea Level (the Pacific Ocean).
