What is a Snapping Turtle? A snapping turtle is a reptile with a shell their shell can be brown, dark green, and black. They bite fast than snakes, but they move super slow, but when they swim in water they are gone the second you blink.
Were do snapping turtles live? They originated in Kentucky, but they can be found in Mexico. They can also can be found all over North and South America.
What does a snapping turtle eat? They eat algae, but it is super rare. They eat fish, frogs, and bugs. This is what type of frog the snapping turtle eats
When do snapping turtles hibernate? When they hibernate they find soft damp mud and hide their self in the mud. They can go months without food.
What hunts for snapping turtles? Poachers often kill snapping turtles for money, their shells. Jaguars eat snapping turtles for food, survival they will eat any species of turtles. This snapping turtle had an accident
Why are snapping turtles endangered? Most people kill them for their shell, money or just kill them for no certain reason. I think they should put them in a park or something.
