Meet Claudia. She is a straight A student and a runaway mastermind. Claudia is cautious about everything … but money. Jamie is Claudia’s brother. A cheater at cards, he is adventurous about everything … but money. This is Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. She is cautious… adventurous… AND rich!

It’s a beautiful day in New York City. Look, Jamie! There’s our new home at the museum.

After all the visitors leave, Claudia and Jamie get a closer look at the museum’s new acquisition… Michelangelo’s Angel. She’s beautiful, Jamie. I bet we can find out if she’s a real Michelangelo. We need to find out why Mrs. Frankweiler sold her to the museum. You’re right, Claude. We should investigate. I think we can solve the mystery of Angel.
