An important fact to remember… The Bible is split into two MAIN sections; The Old Testament and The New Testament. The Bible is split into two MAIN sections; The Old Testament and The New Testament. If you look at the inside FRONT cover of your Bible, you will find the index for the books from The OLD Testament. If you look at the inside FRONT cover of your Bible, you will find the index for the books from The OLD Testament. If you look at the inside BACK cover of your Bible, you will find the index for the books in the NEW Testament. If you look at the inside BACK cover of your Bible, you will find the index for the books in the NEW Testament. Because the Bible is split into these two sections, the page numbers start again when at the Gospel of Matthew, where the New Testament begins.
